My mommy and daddy have launched a new charity called “Frankie’s Legacy” in my memory.  They aim to raise funds and awareness of cleft lip/palate, stillbirth and chromosome 15 duplication syndrome.  

They need to raise £5000 to obtain a registered charity number from the Charity Commission in the UK and have set themselves a goal of raising this by the end of August 2014.  More information about my charity and its charitable aims is on www.frankieslegacy.org.uk. 

 

Please help my mommy and daddy achieve their goal of raising £5000 by the end of August 2014 by making a donation via paypal and help them work closely with Rachel Carter, Matron for Maternity Inpatients and her team to raise funds for the Delivery Suite at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital for the following items:  

Welcome packs:
to be given to every set of parents that have a baby at Worcestershire Royal Hospital to include:

 

• Parking voucher to cover the cost of parking for the first 2 days while in the delivery suite.

 

• Meal voucher for use in the hospital cafe for the Dad to be, or birthing partner for the first 2 days while in the delivery suite.

 

• Standard TV package voucher so the expectant parents can watch TV while waiting for their child to be born - voucher covers the first 2 days while in the delivery suite. 

 

• A BT Wi-Fi code voucher, so the parents can us the internet as required, such as keeping in touch with friends / relatives via facebook etc and general entertainment.

 

• Information on birth, procedures, pain relief options and who to ask for what.

 

• Comfortable chairs for the delivery suite rooms.

Items to equip the delivery suite rooms with more “home comforts” such as

• music player docking stations,

• chrome books for internet access, 

• kettles etc, and some

• fold up z-beds for Dad’s to be or birthing partners that can be brought out into the delivery suite rooms as and when required.
